AIRSTRIP

Airstrip is the very first level in the game, in which you must kill the Polluted Pirhana to continue. This is a very simple part of the run and I would recommend to never reset on airstrip. Even when starting out, time loss on airstrip will be mostly irrelevant.

File Select Timing

In order to have a time accepted to the speedrun.com leaderboards you must complete airstrip and watch the cutscenes in the run. This is known as file select timing, starting when you select the file. On 3/2/17 a poll was given to the SMS community and the traditional race file won.
